Effective date: May 25, 2026. These Terms govern your use of RoastSong, including the iOS app, AI-generated roast songs, subscriptions, share pages, and related services.
By downloading, opening, or using RoastSong, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app, website, share pages, or related services.
RoastSong is intended for users who are old enough to use the App Store account, device, and payment method involved. If you use RoastSong for or on behalf of another person or organization, you are responsible for having authority to do so.
RoastSong lets you choose a photo, add an optional friend name and inside joke, pick a roast level, choose a music style, select a male or female singer persona, and generate short AI-assisted roast songs with lyrics, audio, and optional share links.
The service is built for playful jokes between people who can reasonably consent to being teased. It is not designed for harassment, bullying, reputation attacks, investigative claims, professional advice, or factual judgments about a person.
You are responsible for the photos, names, prompts, inside jokes, context, and other material you submit. You must have the rights, permissions, and consent needed to upload that material and to create, store, play, and share a roast song from it.
You keep whatever rights you already have in content you submit. You give RoastSong a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, transmit, display, and store your submitted content as needed to run the service, generate lyrics and audio, provide history, create share pages, troubleshoot issues, enforce these Terms, and improve safety and quality.
Generated output may include lyrics, titles, audio, captions, summaries, timestamps, artwork-like presentation, and share pages. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use and share your generated output for personal, social, and non-commercial purposes.
AI-generated lyrics, captions, summaries, and audio can be inaccurate, surprising, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable. RoastSong may interpret a photo or prompt incorrectly, and generated jokes should not be treated as facts about a person.
You are responsible for reviewing output before playing, forwarding, posting, or otherwise sharing it. If an output feels too personal, mean, misleading, or unsafe, do not share it.
You may not use RoastSong to harass, threaten, shame, defame, dox, sexualize, exploit, impersonate, or target a person or group based on protected traits. You may not use RoastSong for hateful, violent, illegal, deceptive, or abusive activity.
You may not bypass rate limits, free-generation limits, subscription checks, App Attest, authentication, moderation, or other safeguards. You may not scrape the service, probe private APIs, reverse engineer protected systems, resell access, or interfere with the availability or security of RoastSong.
RoastSong offers broad style choices such as Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, Country, Musical, and Surprise, plus singer personas such as Rap Queen, Rock Star, K-Pop Star, and other fictional templates. These are product styles and personas, not promises to imitate any real artist.
Do not ask RoastSong to copy a living artist, clone a person's voice, reproduce copyrighted lyrics, create unauthorized endorsements, or make output that infringes another person's rights.
Generated songs may include a share link that displays the uploaded photo, title, summary, audio, lyrics, and style information. Anyone with the link may be able to view, play, save, or forward that share page.
Only share a roast link with people who should reasonably see it. Do not post, publish, or forward a roast about someone if doing so would violate their privacy, dignity, rights, or reasonable expectations.
RoastSong may offer free generations and paid subscription plans such as weekly, monthly, or quarterly access. The app may show a paywall after a free limit, when you request more generations, or after sharing a completed roast.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled through Apple App Store billing unless we state otherwise. Pricing, taxes, renewal, cancellation, refund eligibility, free trials, and payment failures are governed by Apple and the purchase screen shown at the time of purchase.
You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account. Deleting RoastSong does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription.
RoastSong may keep generated songs in your app history and on our service so you can replay, sync, and share them. The app may also cache audio locally on your device for playback.
If you want a shared roast removed or have a rights, privacy, or safety concern, contact us with the share link and the reason for your request. We may remove, limit, or disable access to content that violates these Terms or creates risk.
RoastSong relies on third-party services for hosting, storage, database, AI analysis, music generation, analytics, push notifications, and App Store billing. Their systems may be used to process content, transactions, diagnostics, and service events as needed to operate RoastSong.
We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy decisions, billing controls, or platform restrictions outside our control.
RoastSong, including the app, website, brand, logo, interface, prompts, software, visual assets, generated presentation, and related technology, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of RoastSong itself.
We may update, test, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, models, styles, pricing, quotas, share pages, or availability at any time. We may also suspend or restrict access if we believe use of the service violates these Terms or creates legal, security, billing, or safety risk.
RoastSong is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, always available, or that generated songs will meet your expectations.
We do not guarantee that output will be appropriate for every audience, free from rights issues, or accepted by any social platform, app store, payment provider, or third-party service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoastSong will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, content removal, subscription decisions, or service interruption.
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your submitted content, generated output you share, violation of these Terms, or misuse of RoastSong.
We may update these Terms as RoastSong changes. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date, post the revised Terms, or provide notice in the app or website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
